ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS

All of our products are handwoven by our artisans. Since each product is individually made, there may be slight variations in the colors and patterns in a product. These variations add to the beauty and uniqueness of owning a handmade item. We like to celebrate the unique nature of each product created by one of our artisans at our Weaving Center. The images, descriptions and measurements you will find on our site have been used to best portray the products created at Hartford Artisans Weaving Center.

Each purchase you make through the Hartford Artisans Weaving Center supports our artisan weaving program for people who are blind and those over 55. Thank you for helping us share our love of weaving with as many people as possible.

SUGGESTED WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

Refer to the product tag on each item for the fiber content and refer to the list below.

For products handwoven from Chenille, Tencel, Bamboo and blends: 

  • Gentle hand wash or dry clean
  • Tumble dry on low or hang to dry

For products handwoven from Cotton, Cottolin or Linen fabric:

  • Machine wash and dry

For products handwoven from Wool and Wool blends:

  • Gentle hand wash and lay flat to dry

CURBSIDE PICKUP

Curbside pick-up is available Monday-Friday by appointment.

CUSTOM ORDERS
